Historic Royal Day

Of all tours themed around Britain’s past, present and future monarchs, this one truly wears the crown! The day is completely orientated around learning and experiencing Royalty.

First stop is the fascinating and foreboding Tower of London where throughout history many royals have lived and perished including three queens of England. Home to the priceless Crown Jewels Collection as well as the White Tower and Royal Beasts collection.

After exploring the Tower of London we head down to nearby Tower Pier for a cruise along the River Thames. Take in a stunning perspective of London's striking waterfront featuring  iconic landmarks and attractions, as you glide towards Westminster Pier, located next to the renowned Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

You'll have a chance to enjoy lunch in the vibrant area of Westminster and St James, famous for its history, culture, lively pubs and great dining choices, with suggestions from your guide.

After lunch, we stroll through London's Royal Parks, including St James Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Discover beautifully maintained landscapes featuring memorials, fountains, tree-lined paths, flower beds and scented rose gardens. Along the way pausing at Buckingham Palace where you can try and get a glimpse of any royalty who may be at home.

You will then have the opportunity to visit Kensington Palace set within Kensington Gardens, birth place of Queen Victoria and the official London residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Tower of London: The main entrance at the West Gate, opposite the Tower Shop. EC3N 4AB

Your tour will start at 8:45 am. Located about a 5-minute walk from Tower Hill Underground Station (Circle and District lines). Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

 

END POINT

Kensington Palace: W8 4PX

Your tour guide will depart the tour at the gates to Kensington Palace. Here you have the option to visit Kensington Palace which will be open until 6:00 pm. Queensway underground station (Central Line), and High Street Kensington underground station (Circle and District Lines) are approximately a 10-minute walk.
